5. My list of stuff that ruins pvp. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
4) Not more bloody whining about instas. Instas are good for you pvpers. With instas, the non-pvpers (who you all seem to want to go after instead of picking a fight with someone who wants to pvp) will take the chance and you'll get a chance at th...

7. Logoff tactics - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
The only problem here is balancing the needs of those who ose their connection through no fault of their own (servers crash, your net connection fails, it happens to all of us sometimes) who shouldn't be penalised for that versus those who use log...

8. General Discussion? More like General Complaints - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
2 problems with having a complaints forum. Firstly, it wouldn't get used. Secondly, it allows too many of the residents here to categorise legitimate, justified complaints or problems as whining, moaning etc, so they can ignore real problems.

9. What does PvP mean to you? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
pvp =Technically, virtually everything. In practice and the common language of everyone except those determined to deny being griefers, it's outright ship-to-ship combat. I'm still baffled by those who keep insisting that the entire game is pvp. ...

10. Priorities - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
OK, just for kicks (since CCP don't seem to take any notice regardless of what we say), place these in the order you would like to see them addressed: A: Game-crippling and/or massively irritating bugs (i.e. the "Sort-By-Name" problem) B: The la...

12. Is Piracy ever going to be thrown a bone? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
It's pretty clear, looking at the numbers, that the majority of players DON'T want to pvp and no amount of whining, fantasising that they should be forced into pvp or insulting them will make them want to do so. CCP need to make a choice: Do they...

15. Is this game ever going to get fun? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
You're burned out mate, that's all. If you're not a big pvp fan, than don't do it. While almost everyone on these forums seems to be a pvp nut who pushes everyone toward pvp, some players just don't get a kick out of pvp. Fact is, it doesn't matt...

16. Do you want to see joves with lasers or something else? - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
New weapons. If they're being pushed as totally uber and essentially, the Vorlons, they need something that'll inspire shock and awe in anyone that sees it. My vote goes for Ion Blasters / plasma cannons or, (since we've already disregarded scient...
